Ford Green Hall is currently going through a transition of possible trust status and this should be completed towards the end of the year. This will secure and enable the enjoyment of the Hall, not just for the foreseeable future but for generations to come!
It has been announced by Stoke On Trent City Council that some of the City's greatest treasures are under threat of being closed. Ford Green Hall, Stoke On Trent's oldest home, is one of the gems the City council have threatend to close, and we will be fighting any proposals to close this great landmark to our heritage.

If SOT City Council do not have the funding to keep this beautiful 17th century building alive we will have to find funding from elsewhere.
Home to the Ford family for two hundred years this tudor framed building which is now a museum stands at the edge of Smallthorne and offers a glimpse of how people lived during those times.
This building has survived through out the centuries being almost totaly underwater during flooding in the 1980's so for it existence to be possibly shortened for financial gain shows how shallow minded SOT council has become.
